Generally speaking teams without character lose. There are exceptions but it is generally true. Some teams don't care some do. The ones that do tend do better over the long haul. See the Chicago Cubs and Oakland Raiders.

I don't think you can find a team in any of the major sports that doesn't have some kind of character issue.

I think the suspension was a little harsh if the punch was the only thing he did. The actions after the punch were worse or just as bad and he has a history. A whole season though is harsh unless they are done with him after this and are just going to let him stay in school.

Sure it was a cheap shot but Haut inserted himself into the situation willingly. It justs shows the problem with a generation of athletes that has no respect for their opponent. Both are an embarrassment to their institutions.

I agree but the best teams get the best from the low character guys because the team demands it. I know this sounds cliche but it really is true. Look at TO. He should have been the greatest of all time at his position but he has no where near the character (or rings) of the GOAT.

Give me ten jerks that were key players on championship teams in the last ten years. I know there may be some we don't know about but I would say that is a hard list to come up with ten.

Blount will be able to play for the No. 14 Ducks on Saturday night when they host Arizona State. He missed eight games.

He won't be getting as many of carries as he would of at the begganing of the year. He will be playing behind RS Freshman TB LaMicheal James and probably behind Kenjon Barner. Blount might be 3rd string. James has been a stud all year. James is the first Freshman in Oregon history to run over 1000 yards already.
