Those 77 Cubs look like a good choice tgrun ... I almost went for them but decided for my childhood team, the 72 Twins ... The BP is awesome, except that Dave Giusti and Ramon Hernandez seen better seasons back with the Pirates ... In the regular line up, Jose Cardenal and George Mitterwald have seen better years ... twisting up Randy Hundley to better days is also tempting ... As for the 2 add-ons, pitchers like Carlton and Seaver and batters like Carew and Foster look like good prospects ...

The 08 Indians looked like another good choice ... C.C. Sabathia had better years at either 07 or 09 while in the regular line up, it is obvious that Traver Hafner has had better seasons (06 seems good) ... As for the add-ons, Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum and fan's favorites Albert Pujols and Dustin Pedroia would also be leading candidates ...

Also Renko has a very good season to twist to. Seaver and Carew most likely will be the adds. As for the batter twists you also have Bobby Murcer. Tough to decide which is best. Hope we get enough to get this running!

08 Indians + Pujols and Lincecum.... with twisted Victor and Carmona... they should be tough!

Hey everyone, I'm new to the LIVE concept but liking it so far. I've entered into a live tournament and would be interested in joining this league as well.

Just a few questions...

1) A few of the teams I'm looking at have less than 25 players in the pre-loading stage of building a team. What would we do if we had 21 players loaded? We could add the other two, but what would we do with the other two spots? Would they be filled by someone on baseball-reference that isn't on the pre-loaded team?

2) Is there a rotation min/max? The one team has three solid starters with 300+IP each and I could have a three man rotation. Is there anything wrong with this?

3) For live games, we just need to play 60, but in most of these leagues (I'm new to live leagues) what do most players end up playing?

Thanks and sorry if I'm being a pain in the *** with irrelevant questions.

Always welcoming new guys....

1) up to the commish, but usually if a team doesn't have 25 eligble players, you can add 200,000 guys to fill out the roster.

2) not that I know of... 3 man rotation works with many of the older teams.

3) In most leagues that I play, usually at least 18 of the teams make the minimum, so over 75%.

Good luck... great to have new blood!

Well, there are better teams out there, but I can rarely pass up a Phillies team. I'll take the 84 Phillies if you'll have me.
