Uh, no. But interesting to know that you would.

I like big butts. I'm thinking she doesn't not have one.

I've noticed that as we get older (or possibly as our wives get older and, uh, larger), our threshhold for weight tolerance gets higher and higher.

I wish your wife could see that. I've always liked big butts. But I suspect you're right in theory. But, to be fair, I'm sure our wives are more tolerant of the things we do "wrong".

My auto-signed coaches in LoA and Rookie are terrible. So, if nothing else, that part of the update worked.

Of course, we had 21 HC over 70 go unsigned. All because I waited til the last cycle to sign a HC. I was the last one. And I waited because I didn't want the 80+ filtering down to the scavengers in AAA/AA.

We also had 5 FI(49-52 rating) go unsigned. Too bad they wouldn't sign on as RL/LoA/HiA bench coaches. That's how you replenish FI.

We had around 40 40-52 FI ratings go unsigned. If there was a way to get those guys available at other levels, you'd never see a problem with shortages.

Ditto. And here's the dumb part... I had $250K offers out for three LowA hitting coaches (of course, they were all AAA/AA level HI ratings), and all three were rejected by guys... WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED.

Are they trying to tell me that these guys will reject $250K/year to sit on their ***** and make -0- money?!?!
11/9/2009 3:27 PM
I didn't. I put all my available money into getting a good FI... and my RL coaches to the whims of the SIM.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. This has always been the real issue. With your Pitching, Bullpen, Hitting and Bench coaches you can develop them in the minor leagues so they replenish.

It would be nice to see a larger number of Fielding coaches from 55-65 and a few more from 66-75 to make it so you don't have the disparity in salaries. One year I may get an 85-90 to resign for 750K and the next I have to pay 2-3 mil for a guy who is around 75-80

Mike, did the teams in AA and AAA end up getting any of the ML rejects on the last cycle? I played this game at AAA a few weeks ago and ended up with a mediocre ML PC at AAA, where he now has the 4th highest PC rating at his level. I'd like to think the new update prevents the good coaches from dropping to any of the lower levels.

Coaches drop. 2 AAA teams did not have hitting coaches. No one has anything horrible in AAA. Only 2 below 70.

AA-one horrible one. All the rest over 60
HiA-4 below 50
LoA-8 below 50
RL-16 below 50. 2 below 40(including my auto-assigned 37)

It does not appear that any ML coaches dropped below AAA.

Is this any different than players? Should it be?

my auto-assigned HiA and LoA HC are crap ... one more loophole is closed
