Yes, but it is the engine that affects the results. The RNG is not the problem, it is the way the numbers are used in the engine.

If you don't understand probability and randomness, don't spout off about the difference between true-random and pseudo-random.

NBA is not that popular when it comes to US sports.

Its about 5th on the list of favorite sports. Also, you could theoretically add College Football and Basketball together to make 16% another 10% more than the NBA. Only reason I say this is that College fans are just that, College fans most people watch both sports cause they are rooting for the school not just the football team or basketball team.

Also, I would say the NBA has a lot more video games out as where HD is one of a kind sort of thing cause lets face it most people hate EA Sports NCAA basketball, I know I come here instead of a NCAA video game.

So its not far fetched to see why the NBA doesn't get a lot of business on this site. Also, no one hates the NFL or NCAA really, they might just dislike it. On the other hand I know countless people that HATE the NBA cause of how crooked it comes across as with fouls called and how the game is played.

The NBA sim will never be #1 on here (MLB sim is where its at) but I will tell you that back in 2003 and 2004 when I first rejoined the site, the NBA sim was hoppin. It began to die down with the advent of HD (as well it should have) however a lot of negative changes were made as well that caused a lot of users to leave the game/site completely.

And please don't get me wrong, HD and GD are incredibly brilliant concepts...the whole Dynasty thing here has been a real hit...less CRD and perhaps FC Dynasty...but I remember signing up for the first season of HD, it was like a mad dash and on top of that, we had to wait 2 or 3 months before they launched/released the game.

While the NBA sim and NFL sim allow you to replay/play any matchup from history, the HD and GD sims have a progressive, advancing nature that the NBA and NFL sims will never touch.

I was on here back in 2004/05 under an old screen name playing HD, its what drew me to the sight. I gotta say it was crazy busy in the D3 worlds back then, but thats when the D1 had really not even been touched. I remember looking up at the BCS schools and not even seeing anyone up there and now its a different story with about every BCS school taken.

Honestly I know this would never fly but I wish there was a 30 year cap on worlds and then everyone thats in D1 in that world gets 3-5 free seasons for the reincarnation. The world starts over and everyone is back in D3 again. I know not every world would do this. But it would be nice if 2-3 worlds were like this.

that was really good. i don't think a single syllable is out of place :) well, pretending logic is 1 syllable... which is really not too bad at all.

personally, i think mean mr mustard is the most fitting, staying within the same artist. one might suggest the fool on the hill, but, they would have to be going off title, not content :)
