plan B

Why only A or B? Why not spread the delays over two or three seasons? Delay each world by one or two days as necessary until you achieve the separation you desire. They've been this way for a while (since the last glitch or three that delayed a world), so I am not sure there is any hurry to get them back to 3-4 days of separation.

If you can, just adding one delay of time, say,  right before recruiting, one day right after recruiting, one day at the end of the non conference. . .etcetera woudl accomplish a delay without really making someone wait too long at any one time?

Looks like we're getting a pretty even split.  I'd rather do this once and be done with it, but I know that delays are no fun so I could spread it out over 2 seasons if that works better.

Here's a plan that covers two seasons:

First Season

Allen continues undelayed
Smith waits 2 extra days
Iba waits 3 extra days
Crum waits 3 extra days

Second Season
Allen continues undelayed
Smith waits 1 extra day
Iba waits 3 extra days
Crum waits 3 extra days

I know this is the wrong forum, but the GD worlds need a review as well.  Too many worlds now recruiting at the same time.

I do like option A though...............however I dropped out of two worlds after new format ran full cycle in each world.  That was when I first noticed the overlap problems with HD.

I support this idea.

me too - having them close to even is very nice

any of the proposed fixes would be great - I hate it when I confuse the worlds and think there is a juco fallback who I can chase ...only to discover he exists only in another world

simultaneous recruiting in different worlds is also bad for the space-time continuum and can wear out your flux capacitor

There is no way I am waiting 6 days, but if you want to delay the timing of all of the game functions by 1 hour a day for 144 days, I would be much more agreeable. For instance, start by delaying the games to SIM at 3 AM tomorrow instead of 2AM, and then the next day at 4AM, followed by 5AM the day after that and so on and so on and so on.

Problem Solved.

Spread over 2 seasons.

Divide the 7 1-day worlds up so that each start about 6 days after the other.  That way you'll have one new world starting each week.  If a new owner misses the start date of a new world, no worries.  Another will start up soon.  Just like if you miss the subway you know another will be by shortly, not in another hour.  Do the same with the 2-day worlds.  Start those three worlds at about 10 days apart.  Don't know if I did the math right, I just divided the number of worlds by the number of days in a complete season.  (just guessing at 45 days and 30 days respectively to complete a season).  Spreading out all worlds is the key, not just a few.  And never, never never, postpone a world due to Thanksgiving, Christmas, Arbor Day or Labor Day.

Give Arbor Day its proper respect. I do recall the Yom Kippur postponement. That was fun.
