anyone ever figure out whether the 11th game gets one an extra chunk of improvement in skills and IQ?  I have always assumed it does, but never managed to check when I have had that 11th game

I think every team practices during that cycle, so it doesn't seem that the teams who play get anything that other teams don't.  Could be wrong, though.

i have wondered this to... if you think about the normal case, where a guy has 10 games and one is in the 11th slot, one would think he would certainly get the practice boost from minutes played and all that, just like any other game. so i have to imagine when a team has 11 games, they do get the benefit of one extra "game practice" (as opposed to off day practice).

Who cares, you couldn't even cover the line. Your team is terrible.

Seriously, I do get your point. However, the 11th game just happens from time to time -- something we just have to deal with. Now, if this holds you back from a No. 1 seed in the tourney, then you have a reason to be upset.
