I'm curious about a question that the OP asked, but I didn't notice anyone answer.  Has anyone ever seen a player who was not highlighted as someone "in trouble" at the mid-terms, end up failing to make a 2.0 at the end of a term?

Is every player who's at 2.5 or better at mid-terms "safe" from becoming ineligible, with no need to increase their minutes?
