I need explanation of TOC Topic

arent other teams tired as well?  I just lost in the first round of the playoffs, no TOC for me!

Now that I've been quoted erroneously 3 times on this page, let me just say that to use my statements as quotes, on HOW to use quality pitching would be taking them out of context. The proper interpretation of my statement directed to the author merely said TO use your good pitching, not WHEN to use it.  A lot of people have long proven track records, and experience on this subject I don't.  So my statement if interpreted correctly should not be quoted as being on either side of this issue.  I have enough opinions, I don't need one's that aren't mine.

That depends on how many PA/IP they have.  Teams in the TOC are grouped by salary only, so the quantity and quality of PA/IP may vary greatly.

Will there be AAA and/or WW ?  Are there DH or not ?  It seems highly unlikely that even the majority of your players will have close to 700 PA.
No DH, no WW.

If your original team had AAA players, then you will continue to have use of them in the TOC, if they were on your 25-man roster at the end of your season.  Your roster in the TOC is whatever you finished your season with.

Very very important to realize this point: you are slotted into the TOC based on your 25-man roster's total salary at the end of the season - rounded up to the nearest $10M.  Any AAA players on your roster are valued at the salary level of the actual player on whom they were based.  If your total team salary if $80,000,001, then you will be slotted into a 90M TOC.

The salary cap of the league from which your team was drawn does not matter - I see lots of confusion on this point.  The only thing that matters is your team's total salary.

So everything isn't equal if some have AAA, some have WW, some don't.  But all have the same fatigue issues.  This will be interesting.  Don't mean to complain ... at least I'm in a TOC !

No one has WW.

Fatigue is VERY tough in the TOC. If you have a team deep in talent, you have a huge advantage. I've done very well in the TOC, best advice I can give anyone is simple...play every round balls to the wall and hope your team is still standing at the end.

I disagree with most of whats been said, however I do agree that whats been said should be believed.

I'll also say this concerning the TOC.  It's easier to be successful winning TOC's in high cap leagues.  Why?  You rarely have to  worry about the fatigue factor most people worry about.  Also, more than half the teams in the TOC at high caps are THEME specific, and they don't have a chance compared to other broad based high cap leagues, so the competition is less.

Think about it.

Theme restricted league winners don't have much chance vs. "no rules" league winners.

I disagree with everything you've ever said.
