I got exactly 14.5 usage points in my SL, which is my ideal number.

just below 50% orb & 105% drb despite the McHale effect.  65%+ ast.  Only thing I really dislike is that my highest usage guy (Magic) is my lowest efg% guy.  But he's not the highest by much, so he shouldn't dominate McHale's possessions.  Redd has a poor fta/poss, so that kind of waters down one of Magic's strengths, but I'll take his 200 threes in 2400 minutes (182/2312; after sim it'll be closer to what I just said).  Plus he's a sim fav of mine with that ultra low tov% and good rebounding %s.

Drexler goes nuts for 1300 minutes and is a perfect sub for Redd (might start him and bring in Redd... not sure yet):

better defense, better boards, better assists... just doesn't shoot the 3-ball like Redd (and will have a higher usage than McHale).

Have just a tad over $6m left with a need for about 3k minutes.  2k/min is a pretty nice target when you get to this stage of a draft.

I think some people may have better shooting on paper. But your offense plus rebounding is gonna be tough.

One thing I have liked is getting to use short minute years of guys who usually get picked for bigger roles.. Drexler.. Webber.. Ginobli.. Etc

getting ginobili in the 6th was huge for my team....now i feel like i have the firepower to outscore anybody....which ill need to do since my defense is weak for this league....ginobili/barry/stockton form a nice backcourt trio and powe will back up bird...the other 5 scrubs will back up moses/lucas....shooting is great...passing is off the charts....pretty solid on fouls and turnovers...got 3s and guys who can get to the line....the rebounding seems light for this league but i know moses can hold it down for me and keep me about even with the competition....if the rebounding/defense isnt a major problem i dont see why this team cant win the east

However, that is the beauty of this format, no one comes out of the draft thinking their team will suck, but ½ of us WILL miss the playoffs, should be fun……….

Ended up light on rebounding... cause my guards are gonna get killed in that regard.

why not use the slight as bulletin board fodder - then you can 'sneak up' on them - your team is my favorite for what it's worth

I'm surprised to see neither DH nor Ash go with a top tier scorer.  I think they really add a jolt to an offense....  But both Ash and DH know a helluva lot more than I do - so I'll sit back and watch em kick some butt.   They really did a good job drafting.  

Gin's team is tough also.  Howard and Ben are a dream frontcourt.  Logain will get a bunch of wins also because you can only defense so much eFG.

I'll look forward to next season when I draft the BPA rather than think about who might be available for next pick.

I think he meant each owner thinks their own squad will win.

Yep, sry should have seen how that could be read, I guess the question should be: "what owner doesn't predict himself as the winner of the league?"

agreed badja....someone like mj can win a series all by himself...bird is nice but he cant do that...i went with moses because he gave me the most flexibility at that pick....i really thought i was gonna get another dominant big or durant or even big ben with my 2nd but literally every single pick after my moses pick besides kg ruined that plan....i actually hated my team after the moses/bird start....stockton and lucas changed that and then barry/ginobili got me feeling real confident...probably too confident now that i look at some of the other teams...its gonna be a great battle all year long
