That's my plan......  26 games ago, I was 15 games under .500.  I am 20-6 over those 26 games and am only 1 game under now with 9 games to go.  It's gonna be a tight finish.....

Once I get to 82 wins, I plan to make the 1962 Mets look like the 1927 Yankees. This has been an interesting balancing act. My four worst pitchers have given up 213 HRs and have a combined record of something like 3-42. And if Scott Elarton had not surrendered 99 HRs this season, I would be furious with him for those three wins. I hope my regulars in the field haven't forgotten how to play their normal positions.
