So cool to get 12-13 Durant to pair with 12-13 LeBron. LeBron has a better usage by .4, so I assume he'll still be the number 1 option while Durant's FT shooting will balance out one of LeBron's weaknesses. Pretty excited about this team, hopefully my bench doesn't screw it up.

I think I just won the internet with my 91/92 Rodman team.

I'm liking my starting lineup and thought I was shopping wisely, but in playing with scenarios for how to finish out my roster I'm realizing I may have to dip into the bargain bin and sacrifice on quality more than I'd hoped.

I've got strong defense across the board, great FTAs, a start on 3s, and good overall ast%.  I should be middle of the pack with boards, which isn't my preference but should be okay given other strengths.  I have 5,000 minutes to draft and nearly $10 million with which to do it, which should be plenty but I'll have to get lucky and be mildly frugal.

I had that Rodman and Curry last season and won 50 games uptown. Good luck.

nasty scoring combo down low with two expert dimesmen and a crazy/glue guy...loving this offense(especially after the 25mpg of 3s/ast% added in)...plenty of money left for a solid bench as well thanks to the rodman pick...turnovers and defense are the obvious downfall here

I like my first four picks, starting to wish I had sacrificed defense for rebounding for my Lucas pick after seeing some of the starting line-ups (which all look really good, this is my favorite league I think). I do think I needed a guy in that usage range though, and Lucas was the closest thing to the full package that I liked.

So my strategy after I took LeBron was to try to grab the best role players I could with my 2nd/3rd picks and try to get some good usage later. Having Kidd and Wallace fall to me was great, and then it all seemed to work when Durant was still there in the 4th. James-Durant are a cool combination that compliment each other. Team has plenty of assists, 3s, and pretty good defense, so I expect to have a better efg than my opponents on average. I'm worried about the possession differential. Decent but not great rebounding, to's are ok. Should have a advantage on the foul line.

I think I learned from my mistakes last time around and have a good team to back up Wilt. Wish I could have a little more Dimes but you win some lose some.

Personally, I've had some trouble using two 6 Usg pt players at the same time, as well as a 6 Usg pt and two 4 Usg pt players. Anyone else have success with those combinations?
5/12/2015 4:51 PM
(which is why after picking 14-15 Stephen Curry, I only have 14-15 CP above 4 Usg pts. Not sure if Chris can borrow some turnovers from Steph, but I am excited to see how my team will play.)
5/12/2015 4:53 PM
My only championship had 2 6s, 2 2s, and a .5. Not that it really means anything with this group of owners but it's close to the template I aim for now.
