What are your team payrolls looking like. I'm in at just UNDER $40 million. I'm assuming that spells disaster
39.5 with 19600 minutes. I knew I had drafted a clunker pretty early though.

Pretty much the same. I've never finished under .500 before, but I think it's about to happen

I'm at just over 41 on both teams, but one of them has an extra 10 minutes a game unused so that's no great shakes.

wrt next season...the double abba format only cheats the early draft owners. The single abba is more than enough to balance the league.
Well, I know I may eat some words, but my teams ended up almost exactly even and I was back end and front end.  So I would say the format may not be as bad as we thought.  Getting the first pick in the first round with 2 picks per slot was a nice offset.

While I like Al Jefferson and Jrue Holiday, taking them in the 3rd and 4th round will ultimately cost me as 3 of my last 4 picks were purely to bolster my minutes, especially Jrue. Had this picture of a 3 headed monster at pg and the guys I thought I could get were gone by the next round.

Hits: Amare Soudemire in rd 6, Reggie Evans and his rebounds in 9-10, Pondexter and his 56 efg% in 11-12.

Miss: Unexplainably took Coles over Jameer at backup PG at 9-10. Probably had better options than Shved at 11-12.
