I replaced mine with charm, good looks and skill.

But the real question is "SHOULD EE be replaced with more EE?" I can give you a very good reason for "no".
I agree totally that one should not expect to replace EE with EE.

That should be incredibly hard and rare

But, I think there should be somewhat more doable paths to replacing EE - especially hard to predict EEs - with DI serviceable players

I'm going to do my best to NOT be a dick. But, sadly, that's the story of my life.

1. Multiple EE are going to be a thing of the past. With the threads noting the non-B6 making runs, talent will be more spread out. THAT'S what 3.0 was designed to do. Some teams might have 2 but you're not going to see 4-5 again. If I'm wrong, I'll print this post and eat it next October.
2. Assuming #1 is correct, you're talking about taking on 1, maybe 2 if you're just not paying attention, non-serviceable player. I don't think that's a huge obstacle. Maybe it is, I haven't played D1 since 2006 and I wasn't an "elite" coach.
3. Success at D1 should be hard. Sustained success at D1 should be even harder. If it's easy, what's the damn point? People who like easy play Madden on Rookie and try to set records. Who cares about them?

reckon we will see - it is clear that WIS decided to take no action in time to mitigate the transition period from 2.0 to 3.0. In a couple of months, we'll see how EEs are distributed once 3.0 applied to all classes.

Ripping off the Band-Aid. Hurts really bad for a couple of seconds but the pain is gone pretty quickly.

Seconds are just months in HD. Could have been years of ******** by using incremental changes.
