Conference cash encouraged collusion.

Coaches Corners worked great when you could go to the bottom of a conference's Standings page, and just type. Now it's an unnecessary 3 step process.

2 steps (only one if you’re chatting with your own conference). Select conference chat (from Office tab), then choose the conference by drop down.

It’s only 3 steps if you’re trying to do it the old way, from another conference’s standings page. It was a mistake for seble to add chat to the side of the standings page to try to placate people who were complaining about it. That just confused folks more, and made it more likely that people would try to post in the wrong chat.

I think coach interaction in some worlds is as low as it's ever been. We used to have forums by world and some would be active. I assume they're gone. Even if they aren't, they were long abandoned. Coaches corner is an afterthought in the vast majority of conferences.

Funny that shoe was the only one to reply in a negative way, but then again there's no better example of who this was about.

it just depends on the people. It was never an issue in my conferences, but I'm sure it was in others. The same people who would collude over conference cash I'm willing to bet are still gaming the system in any way possible at this time.

Anyone else miss being able to sort teams by exact prestige?

I wish we could sort the recruiting home page.

This is a great change that has been needed for a long time. Even though it is a small change, it shows that there is some attention being paid to the games. This puts all teams on the same playing field in recruiting, and no longer gives an advantage to teams that have a name that starts with a letter way down in the alphabet.

Yeah, nice change. Conf cash was not fair but it did make conf more fun. I play only in active conf, except at Dowling and UMass and I prolly will drop both teams because of that.

Not to beat a dead horse, but usually (99.44% of the time) the decision to post in another conference's chat comes while on their Standings page, readiing their posts and wanting to comment on them. Like in Phelan as the WCC and Big Ten talk back and forth. A 3 step process.

Let me just go to just their Standings page, read the latest post, and make a comment. A one-step logical process. And shoe3, we all know you're not just looking for pork chops.

Yup! What happened to that I wonder?

im not usually a complainer.

and, hell, i'm not even sure if i can remember excatly how it used to work or how many "steps" it is ...

but i know it used to be a simple thing and now it is a cluster. i cannot even imagine what they were thinking on that one.

its one thing for things that are broken to remain broken. but to take something that is working and break it? kinda ****** me off.
