By the way, I was in a TOC a few months ago with thunder1008 where he had two teams facing off against each other. He's such a straight shooter he started his best players on both sides, despite several of us telling him to pick one team and let them breeze through. And he was rewarded with a TOC championship! I admire him for that ... but I would have done it differently, ha ha.
Thanks, crazy, and I appreciate all the advice I got from everyone. I may have played that one a little too straight, but the WIS Gods gave me a wink. :-;

Not the time to poke WIS Admin for being "lazy." I thought they did an amazing job getting the 2019 players ready on time and should get only props.

Interesting discussion.

Here are the WIS rules or "What if Sports Guidelines"

These are the current rules. Do you think they should be changed?

Do you think they should be changed?

Not really. More specific language? Maybe.

In a League when a manager enters more than one team, at that point he is morally obligated to play it straight up as he chose to enter the multiple teams with the assurance he would play it straight.

In a TOC you are placed in competition against yourself against your will. Thus you have not obligated yourself to play it straight. You had not agreed to this. And in my case at least, I do not like it. So I will make the best of it as a competitor.

Under such circumstances I don't see how you can claim it as cheating even if you don't like it. On the other side, I certainly don't like it.
