“A-10/ACC Challenge Is Officially Happening”
Strength of Schedules All Look To Benefit
As of 7/13/20 at 11 am est the A-10/ACC Challenge has become official. The two conferences have agreed to a 2 year deal that pairs A-10 teams and ACC teams up to do battle in a home and home format. The challenge is to start in Week 8 of Phelan Season 145 and end in season 146. Both conferences will have the option to extend the challenge after season 146. Discussions pending.
There are many headlines within this headline. Below are a few of the questions everyone will be asking while watching these games:
-Will Dayton continue its mediocrity with all that talent?
-Will UNC quit crying after losing an international recruit?
-Is Billiken a racist term and is St. Louis in need of a mascot change?
-Is Georgia Tech really Hot Garbage?
-Can The Island harness their RAMentality and return to prominence (YES)?
-Will Maryland accept that they are just turtles and that there is no need for the fancy nickname?
-Can Charlotte compete in recruiting while sitting in ACC country?
-Will the Bonnies modify their poop brown team colors?
-What’s the Deal with LaSalle and St. Joes?
These questions and many more to be answered in the coming 2 seasons. No matter what happens, both conferences look to benefit from this pairing as these games will surely raise the average strength of schedule for every team involved. Stay tuned for updates as they come in as this is a fluid situation.
"Will Dayton continue its mediocrity with all that talent?"
That question was answered pretty quickly. And what the hell is up with me
#2 in RPI, #11 in top 25 and #1 in your heart.
By the way, why they hell am I matched up with Maryland since I am the best team in the A10? There is no way Maryland is the #1 team in a conference as good as the ACC.
