As stated before, no one believes that boys can be girls. Trans women are women.

How do you know that their conclusion about trans people is influenced by the far-left and isn't factual?

There is no objective standard that could make a person with a ***** a woman. Just like a can't be black, Hispanic, or Asian whether I want to or not, men can't be women. We are born with what we have.

OK, I watched the Tapper interview. I agree with you on this. If I'm being charitable, I don't think this is willful manipulation of data from the CDC. I think they're probably just being unnecessarily careful in terms of trying to keep the spread down.

Keep in mind that your original claim was that academic institutions "bow to whatever pressures the far left apply to them." I don't think you've provided evidence that the CDC is doing this, and I don't think you've provided evidence that academia as a whole does this.

The focus on "stakeholders" seems strange to me. The word appears three times in the document. Most of the time, the CDC is only saying that schools should be transparent with the data. That seems obvious to me. I don't think the CDC is making these determinations based off of talking to teachers and parents alone, or even primarily. I don't see the evidence that the CDC's determination was motivated by pressure from the left. Watching the interview, it seems to be an absurd degree of caution.

I think it's great that you can attempt to discern whether an individual study is credible. I'd much rather prefer that over broadly classifying all academic institutions as catering to the left. If you have an individual problem with the methodology, point it out.

You didn't answer the question. Gender is a question of identity. Why can't someone with a ***** be a woman?

This is Blaire White.

Blaire White is a conservative YouTuber, and is also a trans woman. Blaire White has a *****.

In terms of gender, Blaire is obviously a woman. If you saw Blaire in public, you would immediately assume that she has she/her pronouns. It seems obvious to me that she would not be male in gender.

And of course, I agree that gender has no "objective standard." It's a social construct for a reason.

Either way, I just don't care about the "do trans people exist" debate a whole lot. If we both agree that trans people should be respected and should not be misgendered, if for no other reason than common courtesy, where does your problem lie? What actual harm is being done by the left on the topic of trans people?

I know Blaire. I’ve listened to her show. She seems very bright and to be a kind person. Yes, I would definitely not be able to tell that Blaire is a biological male and if we were speaking, I would address her as a woman out of respect, but that still doesn’t make her a woman.

The issue that I have with the lefts trans-issue is that it is extending to children. That is child abuse for a number of reasons which I don’t have the time to get into or provide the evidence for, but it is readily available. I really don’t care what adults want to do with THEIR body (specific language on purpose). It’s their life. If the issue didn’t involve innocent children, I probably would never mention or even think about the issue.

It seems like your only argument in regards to trans women not being women is that they just aren't. I've proved that in a practical sense, it's nessesary that gender and sex not be the same. You began this discussion by pointing out the absurdity in arguing that women can be men, yet you just said that Blaire White is a man, which by any reasonable standard is ridiculous.

In regards to children, if you're referring to hormone blockers being child abuse, I'm pretty sure their effects are reversible? Hormone blockers seem to be standard practice in the medical community, as far as I'm aware they aren't available on request -you have to go through a lengthy process to get them prescribed - and their impacts seem to be positive, significantly, on mental health.

I'm not excited about a semantic debate over what child abuse means, so I want to focus strictly on impact. Everything I've seen about how the left would prefer trans issues be handled at a young age appears to be positive in effect, so what is the tangible downside?

It's her body, her lifetime of parenting.

But you'll know better what's "right" for her, don't you?

I smell hypocrisy at the highest level. Personal dishonesty.
It's not possible to be honest with others when you can't even recognize your own personal dishonesty.

A "fetus" by any definition logically supportable is NOT a human being. Outside the womb it becomes a living human being with full rights. Inside the womb, (AT LEAST UNTIL it can sustain life on its own) until it is "FEASIBLE" the woman's BODY has priority. It is HERS, alone..............it is NOT for me to interfere with her BODY and her right to choose how to live her own moral life. It is her life, and she alone lives with the decision...........unless she is (govern-mentally, or otherwise) coerced into birthing an unwanted child. Then that life sometimes becomes everyone's "problem".

Isn't their a State Agency in Georgia housing children at taxpayer's expense?
Their sure as hell is in Arizona. It's called CPS............ and it's overwhelmed with cases of unwanted children.
Born of irresponsible adults to women who in most cases didn't want to be pregnant, birth a child, or become a MOTHER!

You can support more choice be made available to her, without advocating for abortion, but until you can figure out how to care for the unwanted children we have NOW, it makes little sense to preach for a policy that would just condemn more children to a life unloved and unwanted.
Until the rich evangelicals, (and every other so-called "faith") start adopting more "unwanted" children I can't accept the sincerity of the arguments they put forward.
How many "adopted's" in the Trump family saga are there do you suppose??
If I remember right there was some in the Bush tree.

BS bob. There is ZERO reason any woman today should have a child she does not want. Abortion clinics are readily available and there are programs through which we, the tax payers, will absorb the cost.
I'm tired of arguing the abortion issue here, as nobody has, or is going to, change their minds, but I will say that maybe more people would be more careful, if they knew they didn't have abortion to fall back on.

It is not logical. Does NOT compute to me.

But then, much of what you post, my Canadian friend, makes no sense to me.
At least you're consistent.

And my other friend all3............. then how come there are so many birthed unwanted children??
It makes no sense to me either.
CPS AZ is trying to keep track of all the "cases" of children in "need".
I won't bore you with the details, but the list is long and basic............ everything from simple shelter, to not being abused in some fashion, to the ultimate........just being loved a little by someone.

Even dogs have humane shelters wherein they receive SOME love (and feed!).
How come kids can't get some?

the taxpayer pays for everything the government does. We pay their salaries, so if they are spending time on the impeachment, we are paying for it. We pay for everything. Where do you think the money comes from?
