With 29 teams playing in round 2, my mood is often measured by what my 29-game record is in each session. Of course, I want to be at least 15-14 every session, although based on how high my draft picks are, I'd prefer a 16-13 or 17-12.
My teams are sorted by league number, and the way I have my laptop configured, I can visually see the results of the first 11 teams, prior to scrolling down. Then I slowly scroll down team by team as I calculate my 29-game win-loss record. Normally, the wins and losses bounce around... Maybe I start 6-5, scroll down a few leagues, am now at 10-7... scroll down some more... 12-10... keep scrolling... 16-13. OK... decent session... then I start reviewing box scores and potentially making changes to lineups or pitching, as needed.
In today's pm session, the first 11 teams are 7-4, I start scrolling down... Loss, Win (8-5), Win, Win (10-5), Win, Loss, Win, Win (13-6). Ooooh, this could be a big session for me as the anticipation amps up. Even a .500 finish would be an 18-11 session.
I start scrolling some more....
Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss, Win, Loss*, Loss, Loss, Loss*, Loss* (* = Top 30 pick)
Started 13-6, finished 1-9.... a disappointing 14-15 session. I think I'd rather go Loss, Win, Loss, Win, etc. than getting my hopes up like that.
