Fair Play Guidelines? Topic

dmurphy their intent is clear they want an out.

trop it would be if their past actions indicated that they did not just side with whoever made the biggest fuss. Their past actions however show that what usually happens is an owner is removed and then when he complains he is put back in the league.

They could have used similar language as they did for removal of a comish, which isfar less likely to be needed ,and say that private leagues may have their own rules which go beyond what is contained in this guideline and violation of those rules will be used as a baseline for removal.

Anyway since they will not even chime in it is obvious that this is all a waste of time. The fact is that they have significantly weakened private leagues. They now get to decide who stays and who goes.

Hey, all it takes is a world-wide walkout and any user can be removed. It seems to me like private worlds still can boot people.

Crickett, or that fact that is the weekend could take into account WIS non-comments. I would wait until at least noon on Monday.

Well they have chimed in since I brought this up but they think I'm a crackpot anyway so I am not suprised at the lack of a response.

(Who knows they may right since they are not the only ones who think so)

This means they decide if your private leagues rules are acceptable to them.

I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt until proven wrong.

As I've said before, I've asked that two owners be removed in 30+ seasons as a commish. I don't think there are tons of "Please remove" requests. If there are, maybe those worlds need to take stock of themselves.

GREAT sign from Cal Ripken this morning. I asked that palpatine242 be removed for violating Cal Ripken's tanking guidelines. We just rolled yesterday. I sent a ticket just before rollover detailing the situation, and then updated the ticket after rollover per WIS instructions.

ADMIN quickly removed the owner and cc'd me on this message to the owner:

Your team has been removed from the world based on the private world commish's request.

He provided the world chat posts from early March asking you to improve your club.

What we saw when we investigated was an incredibly low player payroll budgeted from the start of the season. Signings of full-time players in the field and on the mound that were not ML quality but cheap. You only signed 2 IP. Your record was below .300 in a division with another club below .400.

Add it all up, and the commihs' request was enough.

We don't want to lose customers and this case is no exception. Competitiveness in worlds is important, as most users do not like seeing automatic wins on the schedule and scores of 18-4 every night. We hope you understand the position and can see why it's the best course of action for the overall game of HBD.

Id like to put my name in the hat to replace a tanker. Hopefully those teams are set up nicely.
