I have apologized to you 3 times now for running out of players and I al already again sick of it. Out of 23 owners you are the only one who cannot accept a decision that goes against you I have posted for days about players who did not make the draft board That they were first come first served. Anyone who paid any attention to the draft at all could see that we were running out of players and that I would have to make an executive decision. I am not going to order bj to give you Gardner....period I am sorry he read the sitemail before you did but I am not set up to have a conference call with all owners and even if I was someone might not have got the call.

When we finished our designated slots last night I posted that we had 3 players and ANY owner who wanted tose players could sitemail me for those or any players who fell through the cracks. Once again I am SORRY that I didn't have enough forsight to count how many players we had or how many would be on the DL. I am SORRY that we ran out of players and I am SORRY that if Gardner was that important to you, that you didn't try to get him sooner. I have to work for a few hours and we will start the rookie draft off the clock.

Once again ennam I am sorry that things didn't play out the way you wanted but that is the way they played out. We freaking ran out of players in the 23rd round. I wasted one entire day arguing with you when you didn't get your way and I am not doing it again.

I don't know what makes this division like this but so far this division is a runaway. Season 1 the Phillies ran away and hid from the rest of the division. This year will be the Expos by a landslide...10 games or better.

The Braves will edge out the Phillies for second place, and the Mets will bring up the rear but watch out. With Koosman, Matlak, and Tanana developing the Mets are coming and it won't be long.

NL Central

This division should be a dogfight to the end but look for wily old dn3524 and the Cards to hold off up and coming paulf and the Cubbies....this season. Cubs may be the team to beat in 1974. The Reds suffer through a down year due to injuries but will be coming on strong in seasons to come. Watching pirate_dave re-build may be one of the more interesting aspects of this league. I don't think I have ever been in a league with dave where he didn't make the playoffs ....until this season Not even dave can win with this bunch.

NL West

This will be a 3 team dogfight with the first runner up taking the wild card. I will pick the Giants to edge the Dodgers to win the division with a much improved Padres team a close 3rd. luvyablue obviously played the Astro's to be one and done and I didn't catch it. I apologize to all. The re-building in Houston will be a long slow process.

PL East

Every division except the NL east should have a interesting pennant race The Orioles led by Jim Palmer and the Yankees by Catfish Hunter will be no different. Look for this one to go down to the end with the Birds edging the Yanks for the division crown. Cleveland takes a dramatic turn for the worse in 73 but should have a lot of help available in the 74 draft. They will have some tough drafting decisions to make. The BoSox have some injury problems and will have the #1 draft pick for 1974 Hello Jim Rice!

PL Central

The White Sox have the best pitching staff in the league in 73 but couldn't hit my pitching. The Tigers aren't quite as talented on the hill but overall a more balanced club so I'll take the Tigers to edge the Pale Hose. The Twins finish 3rd and the Brewers go from first to worst but look out Robin Yount and a really good draft class could turn the Brew Crew around quickly

PL West

With a payroll of 10 million more thany anyone else the Royals will run away and hide in the PL West. Despite finishing a distant second to the Royals the A's will win the PL wildcard so therefore be in a playoff race. The Rangers stink it up again in 73 but should be much improved in 74 as their youngsters start to develop. The Angels like the Astros suffer from Husker75/luvyablue who turned out to be one and the same and known for joining progressive league's playing one season, then bailing. Hopefully biggtrain will be the right man to correct this ship, but it won't be easy.

The Giants edge the Cubs and the Dodgers take the Expos in the NL playoffs, while the Royals will handle the Orioles and the A's take the Tigers in the PL.

Royals and Dodgers will head to the world series where there will be know high salary jinx this season Royals in 4

I will give bjcole26,bigggtrain,DEMarauder, through the weekend to reclaim there teams or to definitely say they aren't coming back

We have 1 other owner willing to take a second team if necessary
