As we prepare to start Shootout XII, here is how we will handle games with teams that had coaches move out and will not be participating next season:

1. Since both Wisconsin schools were taken over by humans, those games will still count in the Shootout based on the merits of the game results. In other words, no forfeits will be declared.

2. Since the Wisconsin schools are still playing this Shootout, if one of them were to finish first, we will still recognize them as the winner and put them on the Wall of Champions.

3. The wailtlist team with the higher RPI at the end of the non-conference play period of Shootout XII will take the spot of the highest-seeded Wisconsin team for purposes of seeding the next Shootout. The lower RPI waitlist team will replace the lower-seeded Wisconsin team.

By the waitlist teams mentioned in 3 do you mean the new entrants to PS XIII? Curious, as I believe this pertains to my squad but just wanted to double check.
Yes. I posted this over to the XIII thread, and note that I edited it over there to say better/2nd best rather than higher/lower.

This will also be a transition year at USCG. Had to replace 4 starters and one 6man of the year. (He would have gotten it if they had the award) And will also be playing only 2 seniors, and 2 juniors. And I scheduled a really dumb exhibition schedule that did not prepare us for the regular season.

Guys, I will have updated front page with scores and standings tomorrow morning. This has been the "lost weekend" so to speak with regards to getting on WIS.

Eastern 4-4
Cazenovia 3-4
Maryville- St. Louis 3-5
Averett 3-5

Pool B
Richard Stockton 5-2

So, the conference games in the NJAC and CCIW will indeed determine the Shootout Championship. Wisconsin Lutheran is in the driver's seat, needing only to beat Martin Luther to ensure that at worst, the tiebreaking process comes into play. A WLU win, coupled with any William Paterson or Richard Stockton losses, of which one is guaranteed, hands WLU the title.

3-5 in this shootout not 2-6. GOSH

Isn't that a *****? I leave WLU and they are in the driver's seat to win the tourney. Damn the luck!

Sorry man! I corrected it.

Well, Martin Luther gave it a shot, but they were unable to stop Wisconsin Lutheran. So, WLU will win the Shootout outright unless either William Paterson or Richard Stockton win out their remaining Shootout games (something only one of the schools could conceivably do).

In the event of a tie, since WLU played neither WPU nor RSC this Shootout, first tiebreaker would be record against common opponents in this Shootout. Should that also result in a tie, the Shootout will be decided by point differential against common opponents in this Shootout.

William Paterson is eliminated from Championship contention by Rowan.
