Rupp Mega-Bowl 2/10 Topic

Agreed, and the timing is quite suspicious. The powers-that-be are quite aware of what was transpiring with the Mega Bowl, and this almost seems to be a slap in the face.

I had no problem moving up, but my one d3 season was successful. I'd like to think that it is easier to move up if the world is void of humans, but who knows what really happened.

I'm looking forward to a complete rebuild in a competitive division, should be a challenge.

Man, I was too ambitious with the schools I applied to and they all took somebody else over me I got the "while you're definitely qualified we went in a different direction" email 4 times. The last job I lost out on the guy who got the job has a career winning percentage of 36.6% and is coming off a 12-16 season and has 1 NT appearance in 15 or 16 seasons.

Not sure I'm going to hang around, I think 1 a day worlds are kind've boring and I cherry picked a team that I could have success with in 1 season and move up (as I did, SOS was just way too weak). The intrigue of being in a super competitive world made me ignore the 1 a day thing. But my team is going to be much worse next season and the conference I'm in is really boring. I just can't see how I can get a D2 job next season when I'm going to have a much worse season.

I'm pretty sure that with a 14-15 record I am just not going to be able to move up anywhere. I also really wanted to be part of the Mega Bowl, but 1 day a game worlds are just too boring. I lost most of the excitement about this since its inception was 2 months ago or w/e.

i cant eliminate all doubt, but i will say with fair certainty that two seasons at DIII (any two seasons) will get you a job in DII.

That certainly would've been true before, but I don't think we know under these new guidelines.

Has anyone sent in a ticket to ask about the change?

FYI - Great starter program for someone that is joining up.

Francis Marion

Kevin had initially planned to stick it out with them, but the game has been losing his interest lately. If you're looking for a team with some solid So./Fr. to build with, this is perfect for you!

I have...

3 rejections so far. If I get rejected for this last job looks I will not be participating.

I got an amazing gig. Had a Sweet 16 this year, but not great RPI. W. Chester, and we are in good shape going forward. I thought I would have to take a much worse job. What did you apply to LM2?

we should have had everyone list their apps, so there wouldn't be a ton of overlap on day 1. I'm sure CS would disapprove, but would it really matter?

Well I just won the NC in D3 Rupp and I'm not moving up, so teams that went deep in the tournament should get whatever jobs they want.

Weeee, I got a job at a C- school after one year of 14-15.

They have sweet colors and are in a state that I've never actually had a school in, despite recruiting out of there all the time. I'm pumped, but cautiously since it'll take so long to have decent upperclassmen.

I signed up during mid-season and reserved a team, but it is still not showing up for me. With other people getting new jobs, I wonder why I can't access the team I have? I thought I'd be able to start coaching right after the world turned over and now it is 2 days after rollover and nothing.

Anyone else reserve a team and are in the same boat?
