I'd love to see the #s and histories if you have them.

Obviously i have no knowledge directly of this situation but my gut feeling is they weren't accepted just based on what you have said about them 'not helping' because they def. can.

What division was this?

He is using this as a chance to say "I'm right, your wrong because I play at div I and you don't." without being able to actually say how they are worth 1,500 dollars.

I know exactly how furry used them I watched it all play out. I have used all the forms of the boosters in d1. I have on just a schollie and boosters signed a player with out and visits whatsoever. He was no blue chipper but still with a d prestige I couldnt of gotten one anyways. I have no experience with them in d2.

Furry i don't just want to argue with him. The fact is he hasn't used one so he doesn't know how they work and he has never recruited at d1 and therefore doesn't understand when they can be useful. Again he doesn't read 95% of what I write, I clearly stated when they can be useful and how they can be used and why they shouldn't cost $1. He doesn't have to agree but that doesn't make him right. The fact that he has no knowledge of them clearly proves my points, while he has given nothing to prove his.

I am not trying to argue either, just pointing out that to call them useless is ignorant.

this might be the worst argument about nothing with more misinformation than any other in the history of the HD forums

OMG, now you have done it, you have published a confidential medical record, you have violated federal, state and WIS privacy rules, the black helicopters are on the way, you are going to do some hard time for this

is "high" materialism enough to conclude that he will take a booster gift? does it say anything about the odds of being caught or the extent to which it will help recruit him?
3/11/2010 12:57 PM
According to this he will take them but rat you out. I also get that he if good enough would leave early.

All it means is that they would be more likely to accept them. It doesn't mean you are more or less likely to get caught directly.

Since when you offer boosters if the kid says no, you can almost guarantee you are gonna get caught, if they do take them... then you might get away with it. So indirectly, yes it means that it might increase your odds of not getting caught because they might take them.
