ouch....I guess that's what happens when you don't read throught the posts.  I guess i will take the Red Sox.  Unless you want to include the 87 Jays who gave Sparky Anderson his last division title by choking horrifically.

Bye-Bye Balboni was my brother's favorite player when we were kids.  For some reason, he never got that into Ken Phelps.

In 1984, four teams had a better record than KC (I remember AL West sucked that year). In addition to the Tigers, these teams were he Toronto Blue Jays, the New York Yankees, and the Baltimore Orioles. You may want to let the last team owner pick from the last 3 teams, in addition to KC ...

Or give them the options of 81 and 83 Tigers too that were pulled. Ironically someone already had the 84 Royals and dropped them.

I have the 1984 Royals because that's who the Tigers beat to get to the World Series.

If I didn't already have the 1976 Yankees, I would've taken the 1984 Royals to fill this. I thought you would've let that guy take the 1983 Tigers which was why I launched Stein 3 this morning.

Someone take the Royals already. Great pitching and great speed plus Brett and Balboni. This is $100M so everyone has a chance.

jpoulos2003 said he would join if you would let him take the 1983 Tigers that you had pulled from consideration. In my opinion, if you want to get this league started, just let him take that team. 1984's rivalry is already represented by the NL champion Padres, so the Royals aren't a huge loss.

Ok Just let me know what you guys want to do.  I am at work going home   I will check in in the morning    My KC royal lineup has my first 3 hitters   at 335 336 and 390   I LIKE it   :o)    and I have two 20 game winners and the QUIZ   cant lose   :o)
