is it just me or does changing tabs take forever Topic

From CS last night:

"We have seen sporadic slowness and are monitoring all hardware performance.  We have recently adjusted some of our web machines, so improvement should have been made within the last week.  If you continue to see this on a regular basis, please let us know which pages.

Thanks."

slowness continues and is systematic - not sporadic

it is slow whenever one opens the standings tab - and slow whenever one changes teams while open to the standings tab - or when one shifts to look at standings in another conference.

I dont see any slowness opening a number of other tabs, office and its sub menu

I think, but have not checked that rankings tab also is slow and so may be another that I dont look at often

but it is crystal clear where the issue was and continues to be experienced on a systematic - not at all sporadic - basis

from more than one computer - on different types of connections - after clearing all cookies etc etc etc -

I as well sent in a ticket about slow-changing tabs but had an addition to my complaint: I use 4 computers on a daily basis. 2 at home [laptop & desktop], one at work and one at the Library. Amazingly, when I try to access a link on WIS ie; my Oberlin team: clicking on a player profile, for example, or trying to find a job in Phelan and clicking on a team profile I get this message-"A malfunctioning or malicious add-on..." and then the window/tab is closed and reopened. This happens about 70 % of the time. And it ONLY happens on WIS. Not on Facebook, Yahoo Fantasy Sports or anywhere else. Response from CS? Delete cookies and my computer is infected with malware or a virus. I've spent a good portion of the afternoon running McAfee, iolo System Mechanic and AVG and they all tell me my system is fine [my desktop is a month old]. Anyone have any thoughts?

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
are you accessing through a work or school firewall? could be that it is "seeing" some aspect of WIS as malware

Agreed that slowness is systematic, not sporadic, and affects Standings, Schedule, and Rankings.  I've sent in another ticket.

The site has been extremely slow since the last update/downtime. I use multiple different computers on a daily basis (different inet connections as well) and each page in HD takes quite a while to load, same with forums.
