And besides, what is the defniition of middle of rotation and top of rotation? My definitions: A clear #1 is called an Ace. A #1 or #2 would be considered a top of the rotation pitcher. A #2 through #4 could be considered a middle of the rotation, and a bottom of the rotation is a #4 or #5. Obviously there is some overlap here. The player is question could be considered a #2 on some teams, and defniitely a #3 or #4 at worst on most teams. So, really, this whole conversation is stupid. Its like arguing what shade of blue the sky is. So again, he's just pot stirring because that's how he gets his jollies.
