What I meant regards the defensive move....is that I did not understand how picking up Rodman at $3.9 could be a defensive move because the valuable Rodmans are all above the $3.9 and would have been passed over in order to be available at $3.9.  I know this is unlikely if not impossible however when I saw the wild card round after the $3.9 level it makes sense because picking Rodman at $3.9 million would prevent anyone from picking a good Rodman in the wild card round. I hope this makes sense now.   Regards the # of different players, based on your reply I now understand that we can pick any 4 players less than $750K/ea....even ones that have already been picked at more expensive salaries.

dh was correct in his post, tad. however, your post about the 750k players is not correct. exclusive players mean just that... only the owner who drafts a specific player can use that player, so, he would not qualify as a 750k.

haha. sorry, vancem. well, i'm gonna bring back the positional draft league soon (master blaster). i have lost interest in the bowis. played it four times, always finished in the money (free teams), but i feel it is antiquated and much too expensive for my tastes anymore. when glen trims it to 4 teams maybe i'll play it again. but right now, 70.00 is a lot of money. gl there to u.

when the league is full, i will publish the results of the randomized draft order. at the bottom of the list, you will see how many times i randomized the list. it should just be 1 time, that way you know the randomization was legal. it even includes a time stamp. i am using random.org. i joined the service and put a 1-time limit on the number of times per day i am allowed to use the service. i will announce the day of the randomization so you guys will know i will not do 2 generations. it is important to do just one randomization to be as fair as i can.
