Toronto Blue Jays '83-'92.    SP/C: (1990) Stieb, Stottlemyre, Black, Wells, Blair, Borders, Myers
RP: (1986) Eichhorn, Henke, Cerutti, Mahler, Caudill
                                                   WC: (1987) Key
IF: (1988) McGriff, Lee, Fernandez, Gruber (1987), Liriano, Fielder, Leach, Mulliniks
OF: (1984) Collins, Bell, Moseby (1983), Barfield

I guess my only concern would to make sure both Gruber and Key being from '87 is kosher.  I had to pick the '87 Gruber because '88 was his highest salaried season and '89 was a playoff year.

Nm. I can't use that Key. Highest season. @#$#. I hate that #!$#ing rule. I'll try to figure something else out.

Working on a Braves team from 50s-60s and have way more than 25 players. Don't see anything in rules on how to cut out extra players

welcome Jesters.....sorry about Key
My intention was to have a decades franchise league, but handicap all of us so that it's not just the 8 best seasons of the position players and 8 best WHIPs for the pitchers. The "blends" usually allow for a realistic type of team. Some strong players, some average players, some holes, some platoons, etc. Also it sometimes creates a surplus for a team at one position and perhaps a few areas of need, which I'm hoping will spur an active trade market. I like to reward the owners that put some time into researching, drafting and trying to better their team. With adding the not being able use the highest salary season we get rid of all those players' years that we see league, after league, after league.

Szczubelek, not sure I'm following. With a blend league you should end up with 12-14 eligible pitchers and probably close to 20-22 position players that you'll need to narrow down to your 25 man team.

I tried and tried but I cannot figure out a feasible Blue Jays squad....so I'll take the '47-'56 Cleveland Indians.
