Nope. Looks like more people think it was a dirty trick than a brilliant move.
However, an owner caught trying to sneak an alias into Moonlight Graham voted "dirty" so there's that. Another owner, who I blasted for a couple of real life years for trade raping n00bs in Hamilton, also voted "dirty". Therefore, I'm not sure the "dirty" side has much validation.
If that makes you feel better, more power to you.
It sounds like the only affect this trade is really having on your world is that you're losing an owner who, A. You don't mind losing anyways and B. Might have been gone due to MWR anyways. I'm not sure what else you're looking for in this thread. If someone were to say, "No, lying isn't wrong, it's awesome and you're the bestest smartest HBD player out there" would that help? If someone in my world said they accidentally waived people I would look into trading for their waived players to avoid somebody getting something for nothing by claiming them. You wanted to lie to convince nicer owners to do you a favor so that you could get a strategic advantage - had I have been the nicer owner trying to do you a favor I would've been hacked off about the lie, moreso after you bragged about it. If I were in a world with you I would avoid trading with you in the future, but I'm not. If the lie would have made someone trade you something they wouldn't have otherwise then it would matter more, but it didn't. So who cares?
