Walk-ons at major schools/conferences Topic

Having taken over a horrific Villanova team in Wooden I really dont mind the fact they had 100 walk-ons (a bit of hyperbole). I knew the deal going in that it was going to be epicly bad.

What I do mind is the fact my first recruiting cycle was completely horrible and impossible. As been stated a million times on here, if they could just somehow make that new team first recruiting phase a better experience it would make it less painful to take over these decrepit teams.

I wouldnt mind sucking with guys I brought in that are low level D1 players, I do mind sucking when I am forced to have to play D3 quality guys.

The bigger problem is having teams like that on your schedule or in your conference. Crushes your RPI, reduces your tournament seed and is boring for game play. IBA's ACC has 7 SIMS. By the time anyone is eligible to take one of them, they will be in shambles.
Yep. ACC is awful here.
I knew the changes would kill it and now we have a few competitive coaches with the other teams RPIs in the 200's. Sad.
