Are you still in Wooden, cubcub? Arguably the greatest D1 dynasty EVER in HD was hofhof at Syracuse and he ran FB/man. Not only can it be done but he did it at the highest level while losing 3-5 EEs every season. If I recall correctly he won something like 10 titles in 27 seasons but made the title game 14/27 times in that stretch. Dude always had an insane amount of PER on his teams.

Yup I'm at Colorado. Im running Motion/Man, with the expectation to recruit a lot of EEs. At Weber, I recruited a team that went to 4 Sweet 16s (in a row), with the 1/2 Top 40 1/2 4 year player strategy. It worked well; I always recruited a letter grade higher that my prestige and was willing to take 3 walkons. I also had 1-2 elite De, Bh, non-scoring PGs on my team and even scoring. Syracuses history is crazy.
