The breakdown:

194-106 in the National Tournament: 0.653 win percentage
3,018-1,177 overall: 0.719 win percentage
National Tournament Performance
6 National Tournament Runner Up (also known as 0-6 in the biggest game)
10 Final Four
12 Elite 8
36 Sweet 16
27 2nd Round
15 1st Round

Today, on the 20th anniversary of one of the best decisions I ever made, to marry my dear bride of now two decades, I have shaken the stigma of being but a bridesmaid in the HD National Tournaments. After an 0-7 start in championship games, favre3xmvp finally has a title on the eighth attempt with the best defensive Quincy team and maybe roster I have constructed. This victory makes the three titles I won with JTT8355s final 9 seasons a little more sweet too. The final tally to get the championship:

153 seasons, 120 National Tournament bids with record of 234-119, 0.653 winning percentage across all worlds
3,402-1,275, 0.727 overall winning percentage
1-7 in the title game
11 Final Four losses
16 Elite 8 losses
39 Sweet 16 losses
23 2nd Round losses
23 1st Round losses

She definitely gets the perseverance award with the 20-year milestone. She tolerates me for some strange reason!

3,216 wins
164 seasons.
86 NT bids.
0 National Titles.
1 National Final.
1 additional Final Four.
Holy cow this sucks.
Update:
3,523 wins.
176 seasons.
97 ncaa tourneys.
29 players drafted.

0 National Championships.
1 National Final
... (Crum Providence 1).
2 Final Fours
... (Smith Miami FL 1 - Tark Salve Regina 1).
5 Elite Eights
... (Crum Providence 2 - Phelan San Francisco 1 - Phelan Albertus Magnus 2).
12 Sweet Sixteens
... (Naismith Albertus 1 - Smith Marquette 2 - Smith Miami FL 2 - Crum Prov 5 - Knight Salve 1 - Phelan Albertus 1)

At this point, I don't expect to ever get a national championship. But maybe I'll get a lucky 6-game run at some point.
i did get my first ever team with an A+ baseline prestige this past season, so maybe chapelhillne's Kentucky recruits win drag me to a championship, lol.

I won in my first season of Naismith season 2 after my 1st account went to the Sweet 16. Got spoiled and while I had a lot of success..... I just didn't have much championship success. Then again, back in the first few seasons the game was so raw and there were very few coaching plan options, it made the sim engine very random.

I have won five, lost seven. I wonder if there is an owner that never lost in a NT game.

I remember competing against you back in the day. You had some great teams, I think it was W. New Mexico in Naismith.

At least once you get to the E8, it's almost a sure thing you'll play for the title so far!

Pretty sure he means he's lost in the Elite Eight 4 times, lost in the Final Four 4 times, and lost 3 title games.

Hi all, I've been waiting to post on this thread and now it is dead so I think I can safely admit my futility. I believe I made 265 national tourneys without winning, including losing 2 times in the final, 8 times in the final four, 13 times in the elite eight, and 43 times in the sweet sixteen. Went 8403 and 3741 over four worlds at all three levels (mostly D2 and D3) for a 69.2% winning percentage. Finally cut down the nets in D3 Smith so I suppose I don't belong on the list anymore. But if anyone has a resume as sad as mine, there is still hope!
