was this a problem prior to him getting **** on in those couple threads? i mean, i totally agree he started THIS thread to troll. and that one about someone else throwing players or whatever was also trolling. but i looked at all that as a direct reaction to the prior threads where he got totally **** on for pretty trivial stuff.

i don't really recall him being a ***** on ab90 or a_in_the_b. not super active but a normal member of the community, was my recollection. i could be off about this, but i roughly look at the ab situation as one where a normal coach was fine for a decade and then a few months ago people got all ****** off and since then he's been kind of a dick, but i look at that as roughly an automatic response given what was heading his way. i DEFINITELY could be off here though or could have missed something in those 3 years away. if he was a dick prior to all that - then i am probably without a leg to stand on.

A point of correction: a_in_the_b is not ab90.

As an example not previously mentioned, I think a well-known incident that played out in the forums was when ab90 started a second account, creatively as abninenty. With said second account, he was guiltily, not once but multiple times, of violating the two-teams-within-1,000 miles rule in the same world. When this was brought to his attention, he chose to not be apologetic but aggressively defensive. This fed the idea that he was not a constructive member of the HD community.

hmm, i wonder who a_in_the_b is then. maybe i got that confused and that is why i thought ab90 was a good enough guy in the first place. there's a lot of alt accounts - actually main ones too - i have been mixing up folks on since i took those few years off, not like stuff where i just don't remember but actively crossing wires.

A in the b is also arssanguis(sp?) and yeah he's a good dude.

Well.. I don't specifically care about ab90. Or what anyone did or did not do. I just don't like personal attacks. Two wrongs don't make a right. Two jackasses don't make a horse.

Personally I think you have it all wrong, people were reacting the same way he wrote the post, if it would of been an actual farewell, I guarantee people wouldn’t have really thought that much of it or responding the way they did. He personally attacked the game we all enjoy and play the similar way, if someone starts calling you names or is bullying you, your stance is to just let it happen? Come on.

I wasn't aware people were not allowed to not like aspects of the Game. There are several aspects I don't like, I suppose I am next on the attack list now.

For example.. I hate the way the second recruiting period works for coaches changing teams (or signing up after an absence).

100% I’m trolling you. I am tired of this game, for exactly the reasons I mentioned. And anybody who makes a secret alt account to ab90 as abninety is obviously of nefarious intention. Oh, the clandestine plans!

I’m not sure when it started, but at some point, random people just started attacking me. So, I went full Mike Tyson and decided to try to infuriate anybody who was a jerk off. There are plenty of silent users who can testify to my general nihilism (“ahhh that must be exhausting”) about WIS and personal interaction.

But to those of you who are upset my stealing a couple of championships, I have built some nasty dynasties across all games, and it really became fun just to **** you off by stealing more after awhile. I leave as maybe a top-10 coach, maybe not. I wish I would have consistently put in more energy, but the monotony had me “quitting” multiple times each month for the previous few years.

I wish, truly, all of you success and good health. But there are some of you that have less humor than an executioner, and I am certain that you’ll continue to find fault with matters big and small, even in this fake world. Try beating off once in awhile. Take an Ambien in the morning and go to work for the hell of it. This life doesn’t have to be so miserable, and while I have intermittent phone calls with Tarek to talk about life, you all are expending megacalories of emotion serving as symbolic gatekeepers to a realm long ago abandoned.

Ahhhhh and one more thing: how many of you here have taken over thriving programs that I left behind? How dare you fairly utilize the job change programming to do that! Agreed 100%. It's all a part of the show. But as benis said, what kinds responses are expected when a thread topic like this comes along? This is a game, having a lil fun with it is not a bad thing. This isn't the only forum where people argue and debate.

We're all different types of people. For me personally, threads like this keep things entertaining. If I had to read nothing but 10000 word posts from gil with formulas I don't care to know about, I wouldn't come here. That's just ME. Some of us are the opposite. The best of both worlds is here, something for everybody.

Add on..... that was not a shot at gil by the way. He's obviously a helpful guy here, so am I, so are many others. We just have different ways of going about it.

ab90 is so done with HD that not only did he not non-renew his teams, he decided to take over a team in Crum that I brought in an amazing recruiting class last season. What a baffoon.

I feel like the issue with AB was always how he acted rather than how he played. I don't remember the forum names well, but someone drop some links to classic forums where he was being an a-hole. I can remember a few of the situations off the top of my head, but can't remember the topic/forum name. Does anyone remember?
