It's really interesting looking at this "Available Seasons" chart for each team. It gives a quick historical perspective of how good a team was over different eras. The Braves history is pretty extreme. Except for a 3-year stretch between1915-1917, the Braves have been mostly awful for the fist 44 years of the 20th century. Then they had a nice run from the mid 1940's through the end of the 1960's (mostly due to Spahn). Then were pretty bad for the next couple of decades, Then were great during the Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz era and with the exception of 2014-17, have basically been a very good team through the current year.
