I don't think it's true that with pick-your-own AAA you only get 1 at each position. Any league I've been in that had pick-your-own had just 6 utility spots open, which I assumed we had here. Anyway, if you see me playing a bunch of guys out of position this year, this will be why.

Bill Fahey was still playing in 1980? A capable catcher can have a long career.

Hmm, he actually isn't that bad in 1980. He got into the big leagues at 21, and was never a very good hitter. He must have been good behind the plate.

Not sure if anything was set in stone for alignment, but just looking at the ballparks, wondering what people thought of a regional alignment? Traditional NL/AL can't work because we have more AL parks than NL, but this could:

I think it adds a fun little dimension. I have no objection.

I'd swap the AL East and the NL West, so that the geography works better (e.g. the East divisions are actually eastern teams) but otherwise i like it. I think it makes for a little more accuracy, and a lot of good rivalries!

I'd be up for a simple random re-alignment once we're all in.
