As much as I'd love to take credit for it, I didn't pen it brotha. I thought of that after reading it a few years ago off a link a friend of mine forwarded me. My boy dtownlove10 actually posted the link in the previous page.

I can solve simple problems with incredible accuracy. I was also a pretty damn good busboy in the 90's.

I used to be able to tackle people significantly more athletic than me fairly well, fill the alley, and bust up pulling guards but I am willing to bet I have lost those skills.

I can draw up blocking skills like it is my job (well, it is), I can teach running backs to block, and I can make suggestions like no other.

I can keep my temper, drink a 12 pack, and push a stroller (although not at the same time).

I can suspend a teenager for cutting school while encouraging his mother and him with my kindness. I can cover for six sick teachers with three substitutes. I can BS the fire department when we can't find our record of our last fire drill. I can teach AP English to kids who'd never be allowed into that class in another school. I can still outrun the teenage boys at cross-country practice. I can bike to and from work. I can greet one little boy at the playground by throwing him up in the air and pick up my other boy from the neighbors before they start shabbat. I can teach my daughter how to swim.

And then I can fall asleep in bed after only a couple of words spoken to my wife.

That was all yesterday.

I think I'm a pretty good parent. Two sons (20 and 22). When they were very young, ther mother and I worked separate shifts so we didn't have to put them in daycare. They played sports year round from age 5 until college - soccer, baseball, basketball, wrestling, track and field, and football - going to state championships in several - both medaling in wrestling. The past 18 years have been a perpetual sporting event. I've been to football games on opposite ends of the state in the same day. They're both offensive linemen for a division I school - one majoring in computer science and the other in mechanical engineerig.

I'm pretty good at picking a wife.

I'm a pretty decent Java programmer.

I'm good at doing what needs to be done.

A derogatery term(moulinyan) used by Italian-American speakers to identify those of African heritage.

Originally referred to the black eggplant in Italy.(mulignane)

I am pretty sure he means the food strainer....a mouli is a thing that you put tomatoes (and other juicy vegetables I guess but as a dago, I've only seen it used on tomatoes) in to get the juice out. It keeps the tomato skin and seeds out of your gravy.

I shouldn't post on this thread, because it implies I'm good at this, and I'm not.

I'm good at letting young booty turn my brain to mush.

I'm seriously good at fantasy baseball and football.

I'm good at watching the Weather Channel. It is one of the many facets of my dynamic and exciting personality.

I once beat Boris Spassky at chess when he was world champion. He was also playing 19 other people at the time.

I am good at admiring beautiful mountains and less good at climbing them.

I am good at collecting books and movies. I have thousands of each.

I used to be good at drinking. Like many other things, my skills have eroded with age.

I'm told that I'm good at deflecting hard questions and dissembling, and I have no reason to believe this is untrue.

Recently I seem to have become good at aging in dog years.

I'm excellent at pairing wine with food. It's not the most earth-shattering of skills, but thank goodness I live in a time and place where you can make a living doing it!

I'm a pretty good poker player. I don't do it for a living but I sometimes make more money at it than I do at my job. I rarely have a losing month and have never had anything close to a losing year.

I've bowled a 300 game and average over 200.

As a radio DJ since high school, I have an embarrassingly deep knowledge of music trivia. I'm the DJ other DJs try to stump....usually to no avail.

I am blessed to have always been a pretty popular guy. I don't know if funny is a skill, but I'm the funniest guy most of my friends know. I like making people laugh.

My wife and my dog love me. I'm pretty proud of that too. :)
