Questionable League Issues Topic

I honestly don't see what the point is in sticking around in a world that is falling apart. Cut your losses, move to a secure world and let the crap be crap. I would rather have all the crappy owners collect in one spot than be dispersed to good worlds. You won't solve the cheating issue and you won't clean up that world and if you do it will cost you hundreds of dollars for what? The pride in telling a bunch of people you don't know on the internet that you cleaned up 1 crappy world? Not worth it in my book.

What would I do? If I were Customer Service I never would have disclosed any information until I had done my verification. So that if my verification satisfied me there is neither collusion nor fraud I wouldn't have some premature statement coming back to bite me in the ***.

Can I keep my WS title?

Sure. Amend my post to say "Everything except johnson's title."

Good owners should dump bad worlds and fill up spots on good worlds. Don't waste your time if you feel the way you do.

Just took the time to skim that WC. Wow. That's 45 mins I'll never get back.

What I don't understand is this: the owners wanting to change the World (and I agree that those changes would be for the "better" as far as me wanting to play in that World) are new to it. I think 2 of the 3 loudest are in their 1st season. Many (if not most) of the long-time owners seem fine with things as they are. Why not... leave them be? One of the "this-must-change" owners even said he'd be willing to drive 27 owners out of the World to "fix" it. I've got news... an HBD World is NOTHING but a collection of 32 owners. It has no value unto itself- only the value we take from it. If you cause 27 owners to leave a World they previously were renewwing in, then you have not fixed the World, you've broken it, even if it now conforms more closely to your personal standards of HBD right and wrong. Why is it soooooo wrong for 32 as someone put it "crappy" owners to have their own league where they let stuff fly that you wouldn't let fly in your own, "non-'tarded-up" Worlds?

You couldn't pay me to take a team in that World, it looks so un-fun. Nonetheless, why MUST it change, instead of the owners who don't like the way it's being run changing Worlds? Why MUST we all see things the same way, operate our teams the same way, eveluate players the same way, etc.

Good worlds generally don't have a hard time finding good owners to fill them.

Here's the biggest problem with 'tarded up worlds:

N00bs don't know. So they join their world, unwrap their present and get all excited about playing the game. Then things get funky. N00b gets frustrated, abandons his team or plays it out in hopes of finding enjoyment, and disappears into the night to never be heard from again.

Makes it hard to bring new members into the game.

For the record, I said if it was running off 27 problem owners, then the world would be better off for it.

I see it as a challenge. Many owners don't like things, but don't want to get involved in the world chat or really in anything...they just want to play the game. Really, that's what everybody wants, but I want to do it on a more level playing field. I guess I could leave it alone as the cheating world, but now I've invested $50 and a lot of my time in changing the way things are done...and it's finally having some results. I'd hate to give up now.

I think I'm going to have to do what mike said and take the time to send admin every questionable event in the league to show disturbing patterns. I'm still debating a public discussion on each owner, but admin is now deleting my posts because they don't like being called out.

For the record you only need 26 more since you were able to run off domi.

How in the world do you fix that? I guess all I can think of is forcing all new owners into "new owner" worlds. Everyone plays two-three seasons with other "new owners" at a discounted rate (1/2 price) before they are kicked out and given a list of leagues to join. Isn't that how all of us started in the first place? You get newbies all together where collectively they learn at the same rate, hook them on the addiction and allow them to make an informed decision if they want to continue with a long-term team.

Domi wasn't part of that problem (at least I don't think he was), he was part of a different problem.

Also, these newbie worlds would be completely new and then deleted after the owners 3 season learning curve is over. This insures every owner gets a decent new team to start and learn with. Plus you don't get new owners coming in and wanting to start a new world with new teams only to leave it and introduce us all to another ruined world.

So your then still hoping to get rid of 27 owners?
