Slightly off-topic, but since its my thread, my tournament, and my life ...

Is there anyone besides serb0649, johnnyt_1, bigmanwes and andersaa in D1 Knight, under any aliases? I'm in Knight at San Diego St. as pallazo and am wondering if you 3, and anyone else who might be over there would be interested in doing a smaller version of the Shootout in Knight? And if not a tourney, then I'd like to at least schedule some of you coming up.

Let me know...

Was sort of thinking the same thing. Jonny_t is now in the Patriot league with me. I know he was talking to connor81, trying to get him to jump up.

I was thinking it might be fun to either organize a tournament, or pick a conference like the A10 or something and try and fill it up here in a few seasons, even a smaller league would be fun like the Patriot where Jonny t and I are. It would be easy to get everyone in there pretty quickly.

Make it a conference wide rebuild and try and turn it into a pretty solid conference.

I like the conference idea, but I went to SDSU because its my alma mater and I plan to stay there and build a consistent contender. Maybe I'll have to start another team in Knight with this ID....

I like the tourney idea, red, count me in. We can start small and get larger. Knight was my get to D1 as fast as I can team. But I know I pay attention to Phealn more becuase of this tourney.

I'll draw up something quick for the 5 of us that are there and throw it out there for you guys to look at before recruiting starts in Knight. If anyone has a catchy name, go ahead and and submit your ideas!

serb I would be interested I am trying to find a world to move up in because I love the phelan shootout and am planning on staying at MLU but would like to move up in a different world. just looking for a reason to join another world any suggestions (anyone)

Exactly the same thing that I am trying to do. I have had 1 bad season followed by 3 pretty good seasons at American. If I pull off a decent season next year to replace the bad season I will be looking to move up again. Hopefully to a good A10 team or to a bad BCS team.

I am all for a tournament though. Unfortunately it will be hard for me to get going in if I am still working my way up the ladder. Scheduling might become a problem.

Good start to the Shootout so far.

I thought Jade had me in my last game. Cut the lead down to one at the end of the game with a last minute barrage of 3's. Had me scared for a second.

Cool connor. We have the Knight Knockout thread up in that forum. We are starting in S25, so if you move up for 25, you'll get in probably in 26.
