That's not entirely true.
Ricardo Abreu is a guy with pretty much the same pitches, but better splits and control. His career line against is .247/.312/.401. His ERA is 4.74, but he is the king of small sample sizes with 33 DUR and 9 STA. He only can throw 25 Innings a year, so when a guy scores because he a guy on base and couldn't finish an innning, it kills his ERA.
