You sitemailed me. I simply told you what I told trop when he said you were taking the stacked and loaded team off my hands after crapping all over the project.

As for your "plan", that's quite the humanitarian effort. You're going to take over a team that should win 90-100 games for the next two calendar years by simply resigning players. You're going to make it better by signing Type A FA and give up the 30th-32nd pick each season. You're going to "do your part" by trading players on the stacked and loaded team for fair value. Seems like you're really going to dismantle that team and give everyone a fair chance. Good job, buddy!!!

And, by the way, it's not "digging" if you know exactly where they are, exactly what was said and exactly who said it. It's just public record.

I just found it "objectionable" that someone who crapped all over the entire reclamation project jumped at the chance to take the young, cheap, loaded team when the opportunity presented itself.

It's akin to saying "I'd never sleep with Megan Fox. She's a miserable *****" and then slobbering all over the place because she actually spoke to you.

It's hypocritical.

What trop should have done, and soxfan can still do this if he's really into "community service", is find someone with plenty of experience and little success to take the team. That guy isn't very good at the game and will do one of two things: 1. Figure out what it takes to build a good team because he inherited one. 2. Screw it up because that's what he's done with the rest of his teams.

Worst case scenario, he gets rewarded with a few $$$ for being an active HBD member before he wrecks the team.

I nominate reigny. Soxfan121, contact reigny and see if he wants the team. Then do the right thing.

This guy deserves a good team.

"Self-serving interest" does not equal "community service".

Admit you're more than happy to take a powerhouse but had no interest in taking a bad team to "help the world". Nothing about your "plan" helps the world. At best, you're just moving equal talent around. After having had that team for a few weeks while the prospects were distributed, I think you're more likely to move older, expensive players for younger ones in order to continue the dynasty.

You could give up the team now, you didn't purchase it, you haven't done anything to "make it yours" and actually prove you're trying to help the HBD community. Or you can keep it and win a bunch of games.

I think I know which route you'll take.

Of course you do. You know everything. Just ask you.

I know what you're going to do. You're pretending that you're deeply concerned about the well-being of HBD. But you're really just happy to get an awesome team that will rack up wins for many seasons to come.

You'd have been better served keeping your yap shut instead of pretending to be some knight in shining armor.

Hey, maybe if you repeat it enough you can convince, whoever it is you're trying to convince, that what you "know" is true. What I know is that you aren't interested in asking questions or discussing anything. You are only interested that everyone knows your opinion, knows your thoughts, knows how YOU would solve it.

It's fairly obvious to anyone who pays attention.

You took a loaded team. You'll keep a loaded team. Just quit acting like it's all for the betterment of HBD. But, in truth, it wouldn't be any different than the owner who cherrypicks teams in public worlds and tosses them aside when they stop winning IF you hadn't made such a stink about Foxx and that team, in particular, 3 months ago. Of course, three months ago, you couldn't get your hands on a team that young, cheap and talented.
