Here's a thought from another post I'll bring into this debate. Not sure if it applies, or even if it's valid, but at first glance, it kind of made sense to me as a possibility.

Does anybody think that maybe bringing the old players from the old system over to the new system has anything to do with it. They were recruited using the old logic and maybe in the new system it doesn't apply the same.

Also maybe after 2 or 3 seasons in the new system, maybe things will even out back where they should be as the old players from the old system graduate and move on.

Just a thought guys.

There are certainly both statistical and anecdotal evidence to the contrary. You could be right that the statistical evidence is only indicative of a well-coached team, and that the anecdotal evidence is simply the jealousy monster rearing its ugly head, but there is undoubtedly a "base" for the argument.

well if jealousy is a base then its not baseless.

CS Response:

"We're monitoring foul rate and have already made a few tweaks to it. There will be an adjustment period for some teams that are attempting to press with athletically inferior teams. Those are generally where the extreme FT disparities are happening."

Stats + anecdotes = base. Not sure there would even be another way to prove it. Like I said, maybe there's an explanation, but there is certainly a "base," and I think it's clear that you have quite the bias yourself.
