NL East: Boston, Brooklyn, New York, Philadelphia
NL West: Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago, St. Louis
In the NL, the Boston franchise will move to Milwaukee in 1953. It will stay in the NL East. In 1958, the Brooklyn franchise will move to Los Angeles and the New York franchise will move to San Francisco. They will switch divisions with Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. Anything that happens from 1962 forward will depend on the parks being used, as this league will not necessarily expand at the same time.
AL East: Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington
AL West: Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis
In the AL, the St. Louis franchise will move to Baltimore in 1954. A year later, the Philadelphia franchise will move to Kansas City. These 2 teams will switch divisions in 1955. Anything that happens from 1961 forward will depend on the parks being used, as this league will not necessarily expand at the same time. The Washington franchise will have the first option of moving to Minnesota in 1961, but if it stays put, must leave Washington by the start of the 1972 season, the new Senators' first year as the Texas Rangers.
