Ok, fair enough, I just see a lot of ideas thrown around on a daily basis and i think it would be valuable to capture them and try to validate them in beta land, even if they fail. And I feel like communication would be key to ensure to keep old users and gain others. This is a paying product and it seems like many are very interested in making it better so I just don't understand how they wouldn't put users in charge of gathering data and testing out functionality that can be easily tweeked.. maybe even scouring user engineers they would hire for peanuts that would just want to improve the product in beta ... most would offer their time for free lol.
carlos, are you aware that they did seven or eight seasons of beta? And quite a few changes were consistent with if not the result of user feedback? And user complaining will continue no matter what is done?

Coach, I was not, I played back in 2004 and left for awhile, I just came back. I figured they did some work because 3.0 just came out recently, but I was wondering if they continually to improve and receive feedback and if there was a specific user(s) that are responsible for WIS

They are at the point of monitoring some of the features to see how they play out, and they occasionally make tweaks. Sometimes they tell us about the tweaks in the Critical News. I believe the main guys who do that are redhawk_514 and/or cwisniewski, but that may not be right. Impatience rules supreme on the forums, though, no matter what WIS staff says here.

I realize my posts are background noise since they get drowned out by the whiny white noise machine that you are.

Thats great! Reading the forums you would think that no one is around. Seems like there is a team that continually tweaks the product.

Bang! Nicely said.

Don't let spud fool you since you are new.

It took years of abandonment for them to put an update out that ignored a majority of complaints with the game and still didn't solve many outstanding major issues and adding almost as many problems as it fixed.

There is barely if any communication from anyone even before the forums went to crap.

Thinking there is a team that continually tweaks the product is the most delusional mindset of anyone outside whatever coachward is thinking. They've done 2 actual things in the signing odds and capping each recruit to 80 AP a cycle, everything else was stuff that should've been fixed or introduced in the beta. Not including the multitude of issues never fixed....

ROFLMAO at Only. Carlos, now you see how diplomatic I was being when I said, "Impatience rules supreme on the forums, though, no matter what WIS staff says here." Still laughing.

if the devs magically have showed up and been posting without my knowledge feel free to let me know.

typical spud answer deflecting the question and making an insult because he is wrong...

Carlos:

This is from the last sighting of cwisniewski on the forums ... over a month ago ... not much in the way of tweaks here, just a joke about how they aren't doing anything:

Whether it's a bug or not, lets be honest, are we really going to fix it?

Just because I get those fancy 5 stars under my comments doesn't mean I have to be so serious all of the time.
2/24/2017 9:54 AM

This is redhawk's last HD post announcing what are mostly cosmetic changes ... from two months ago:
  • Opened up recruit signing odds to all worlds
  • Update Non-Conference Scheduling for mobile
  • Added time until world registration closes or until time registration begins on world signup
  • Fixed mass scouting issue on mobile
  • Added last season stats on play game plan page before non-conference games start

So look, I'm not one clamoring for widespread changes, not because I think the game is perfect or couldn't still be greatly improved, but because I accepted a while ago that the game is what it is and they may make changes or they may not. And even if they do make changes there is no guarantee I'll like them any more than what is currently in place. Frankly, I don't care anymore whether they make changes or not.

Either way though I don't think anyone can authoritatively say admin is actively "monitoring" the game to decide if further changes are necessary because we simply don't know. The communication has been poor and inconsistent at best. So maybe they'll come out tomorrow with a whole new communication effort (not likely because it's a Saturday) and tell us what the thought process and goals are for the future of the game but I wouldn't hold my breath and would learn to accept that the game isn't likely to change from its current incarnation.

Spud is still experiencing childhood trauma from never winning anything, other than participation medals when he was younger.

no spud didn't get participation trophies, all the winners got trophies and medals handed to them even though spud was better than them at everything. That's why he is so adamant about getting his participation trophies now

LOL, Carlos, I forgot to add that you'd see not only impatience but bitterness, petty childish attempts at chest-beating, random insults and the like ... but you'll see for yourself. Welcome to the murky world of HD forums but also to the fun game of HD 3.0.

LMAO! Whatever the case may be, I'm sure he has some hidden agenda.

Poor Spud. 12 seasons and can't get past the 1st round. He tells you to select lower rated players, but yet doesn't have the resume to back it up. More evidence of why nobody should listen to him.
