Max win total possible is 76. My odds are about 10,000 to 1.

Let's say Emory loses to #2 Trinity. I would need both Nebraska Wesleyan and Emory to go perfect in conference tournament and the national tournament to get to 75.

I believe the professional term for this situation is "you?re f*cked"

Because that?s pretty much what I feel like gameplanning for Trinity tonight.

so you're telling me there is a chance? haha

Well I'd like to see you go out with at least one title before your retirement.

The Emory team has the best chance to do that, but Millsaps and Trinity are both loaded this year and Palm Beach Atlantic cleaned me out pretty good in the non-con, so I am not holding my breath there. Nebraska Wesleyan is a year away from its best crack since 11 of the 12 will be back next season, but they will be a touch light on the athleticism side. As much as I would like to grab that elusive D3 national title, I think I will have to be content with my D2 title and call it a career (and on low self-esteem days, I can always polish the PIT championship trophies again...)

On the flip side, if anyone wants to see what an 81-93-90 Ath-Spd-Def guard is like in a D3 press as a senior, I strongly encourage you to grab Emory in Rupp next season, because it should be fun...

Right now, the projected win total appears to be around 63.

I'm giving myself 1,000,000-1 odds that I win on some technicality. Not counting myself out yet.

Maybe I didn't read the rules clearly, but it's not entirely impossible for everyone to go over. Right now it's at 58, but if somehow Emory goes into a tailspin for one reason or the other, it's certainly possible everyone could go over. If that is correct, how would it be decided then?

Fortunately, we don?t have to worry about this now...last night?s wins assure that someone will have the tally (and since many of the point guesstimates look low we should be safe there too...)

From what I"m seeing and anyone is welcome to double check, there is no way the tie breaker will come down to total combined points. The total combined points for all 3 teams is 6,494. Everyone that was still alive went under, so therefore, any tie breaker in wins, between 2 or more teams in wins, would automatically eliminate the team with the lowest combined points.

Agreed...as I'm tracking along here I think it's just a question of the win total at this stage. Big "W" against previously unbeaten Trinity last night...the reward is a rematch with brianxavier's Millsaps machine and a chance for him to hang career loss No. 50 on me tonight in the CT finals.
