16) Raggedclaws---personally, I admire rags’s team building more than any other owner. Absolutely solid draft with Kawhi/Claxton/Gafford/Penny/Jackson/Billups/Javale McGhee. My only critiques would be: 1) maybe Penny has seen his better days in the $52?? He always seems to perform well but he is a little light on 3’s. And 2) I use Jackson a lot and he is a solid 5th Round pick. I do find that he underperforms more than usual about 25% of the time. For our sakes, I hope this is one of those times. I see you are rolling the dice with Willis Reed. Here’s one of only a handful of team’s who has put an emphasis on Defense this season. This is a playoff bound team, but surprisingly, did come up a little short on some areas to be a dominant $52 team (3PM/DREB/Asts).
17) dakjd901---Huge fan of Rodman. I would have gone a different direction in the 2nd Rd. I like Stockton but don’t know that I would pick him in the 3rd. 4th Round pick of Lavine is just bad. I am ok with the rest of the draft. While this team is extremely high on Rebounds, the opposing team has to miss shots for you to have that opportunity and this team is sorely lacking on the Defensive side of the ball. Plus, this team also fouls a lot. This team will be on the outside looking in when it comes playoff time.
18) jcred5--- very strong draft here. Bird/Embiid/Pippen/Kemp/Conley are solid and then Mobley drops to the 6th, which is crazy, and you sniped me and everyone else with Caruso. While the draft is solid, I think I would use different seasons of Bird/Pippen/Mobley/ and Conley. Your rebounding has come up low and your turnovers high. I still think it has enough talent to squeak into the playoffs, though.
