That's like my story at D3 Bates in the allen world. Total crap before i got there took like a season and change to get my players developed in there had to recruit 11 guys.

I like rebuilding programs for some crazy reason the only team i havent took over that i didn't have to rebuild was montclair st d3 in wooden world. The rest were total rebuilds- St. Olaf in naismith world and Elizabeth Valley in tark now Alaska Anchorage in Tark they have 6 frosh recruits and 2 jucos fortunately for me in yr 1 of that rebuild i have 4 guys i can lean somewhat to play the bulk of the minutes while the other just develop and shoot very little.

#15 SG, #65 overall; ineligible. I hope Stennis shows up. He doesn't have the best athleticism, but whatever. He's good everywhere else

Stennis showed up and had a couple of decent seasons with the Rams, in spite of their complete implosion, by the time he was done. Due to his athleticism, the chances of him being drafted are fairly slim. He does have good all-around ability, though.

#74 SF, unranked overall, *; no promises. Paradise is coming in unheralded, but I think he'll turn out pretty well in the long run. He wasn't anywhere near my first choice for my backup SF position, but he was at least someone I had kept an eye on from the beginning of my scouting. He suits my system. I can't really sell him more than that. I like that he's got good speed and athleticism, and FT shooting

A 3-year starter. Never mind that those 3 years have been generally miserable.

#40 PF, #138 overall, ***; no promises. A classic Fordham developmental recruit, with the exception of his speed. I will be playing Damien at the C spot permanently because I don't think he'll be able to guard speedier PFs. He'll turn out okay. He wasn't my first choice, either, but I'm pleased with getting him - the only reason I didn't look at him right away was that he isn't a local.

These guys who I recruited, who weren't my first choice...well, they developed okay over time and all, but ultimately couldn't compete too well with the newer guys, who came in and got in all of their improvement up front.

International therefore unranked, ***; no promises. Clearly, I will have to put a heavy emphasis in practice on improving rebounding for Angel Marino. I spent a fortune wresting him away from Cincinnatti. I think he'll develop well, but might not contribute as much as I'd like right away, due to the rebounding thing. Maybe Marino or Damien will do me a favor and agree to a redshirt

Neither guy did agree to a redshirt. Marino turned out alright...not great, not worth $50k, but whatever. He was a good starter for two years. I don't know who started over him when he was a junior, but it doesn't matter much. A generally solid career.
