So I'm guessing my soph PF was unlucky then? Since he was a sophmore I am assuming he'll be drafted in the higher portion of the 1st round then? It would REALLY suck if he was picked in the second round as a sophmore and I were to lose a stud player and not even get a prestige bump to boot.
It seems to me that just getting to the NT put me on the same playing field as all those elite programs above me which all I'm trying to do is to reach an even playing field to recruit the same players. As it is, I'm at a huge disadvantage to those that are already have a higher prestige AND making deep tourney runs than I can accomplish trying to rebuild.
So far this part of the patch appears to be working as intended.
Compared to before, more guards are leaving early.
I think people wanted TOO much of a change with regards to guards/forwards leaving. Guess what, irl, more bigs DO leave early than guards. I think it's a good step, because it's balanced things more. I wouldn't want it too extreme in the other direction like many feel has been done on the prestige issue.
Hopefully Seble will read this and note that the majority of people are not complaining, and only a select few.
I think the jobs issue is easily the #1 issue, before and after this patch though, which this patch, through prestige changes, actually made even worse. Having a few more bigs than guards leave early, even if the patch didn't change it as much as people liked, is such a small problem compared to a couple of other things that can be fixed or focused on. (zone rebounding, jobs, mid tier recruit generation, etc.)
