This has been an interesting character test. I’m glad I don’t know a lot of users in real life.
Another saint?

Or maybe I will redshirt them as Sophomores, take a lesser WE hit then.

I’ve been playing HD for years what is all the talk about ineligible, etc? Can someone help me understand?
You said you've played HD for many years, but you only have 4 seasons. Did you mean GD? Or what is your other profile in HD? If you meant to write HD.....

Basically, during recruiting, up until now you could basically offer 25 min and a start for a massive recruiting benefit, and if the player signed with you, you wouldn't have to honor those promises. Because the first season he'd sit out. Then his first PLAYABLE season, those promises would be gone because he would then be a Sophmore technically.

The changes made, if you offer 25 min and a start, and he stays ineligible upon arriving at your school, that next season (his first playing season), you NOW have to honor those promises.

So lots of coaches (including myself) have been getting free recruiting effort of 25 min and a start on ineligible players, that would help in the recruitment, but we were never forced to honor them. Now we have to

298 seasons. Average $5 per. Nearly $1,500 in. And ucked-fay without a fair-thee-well. Nice work Adam.

It looks like someone is threatening to run away from home if he doesn't get his way.
I am happy with the changes but I pay more than $5 per season.

Can we at least know what the WE hit will be?

I know of one instance WE went from 52 to 13 after RS. That's harsher than if I gave the dude a Car! Giving a car would get him suspended and Drastically drop my Rep, which really only affects getting a new Job. Sad thing is my Team could still go to the Playoffs, a Bowl, or EVEN win a NC after giving Booster Gifts! I rank it right up there with the removing a scholarship penalty and having to start ALL over again if you need to sign that guy!

I played back in the day when rewards were higher and you could play almost forever without paying more. So that is a guess.

And no, not threatening. But in the face of p!$$ poor customer service, my happiness with the product is certainly diminished. And this is not the first time that has happened.

But the New Era is certainly not showing to be different in that respect from the old one.

All for the want of a single message of warning.

And it is not the ruining of two players that matters. It is the total arrogance that bothers me.
1st thing you have said worth a damn! If you look all over the old form you can see the rs 75%thing many times

I truly believe this hurt the game more than helped all he did was eliminate the known loopholes! people with 100+ NC know

More wah wah wah from most people here.

"Its the arrogance that bothers me"

What arrogance?! Giving attention to the games that haven't had any in years? You guys can't stop whining long enough to see that these are good changes for the game(s) long term. Who gives a **** about your one player that will get affected by a loophole closure that you/we benefited from for a long time!

I've gone on record to say that I abuse the hell out of an HD loophole, the senior redshirt trick. "When" Adam gets around to fixing that (I say when, not "if", being hopeful), and I get burnt one year by a player leaving, or losing resources, my response won't be tears. It'll be "FINALLY!"..... Because it's best for the game!

This thread has turned into an embarrassment. Man up guys

The changes, fine.

All he had to do to keep goodwill was give advance warning of the date of the change.

He doesn't care about goodwill. Arrogance.

"Sorry not sorry" is very passive aggressive. Almost childish.
I'm surprised by the whining of a few in this thread. I'm very happy we have developers who are making any kind of changes to benefit the WIS community. It's good to know we have people behind the scenes working to make this a better sports simulation and hopefully making it a better brand overall.
Thank you Adam for your help
