Sinai is back. Took over the Weber State team I had in Smith.

If this doesn't get handled, and BOTH SINAI AND AB90 ACCOUNTS BANNED FOR GOOD, I'm out. This is more "laugh in your face intent" by the biggest *** in our game. And CS doesn't appear to want to address the situation. Tired of seeing this dude. Tired of talking about him. Had enough. How many chances do we give.

I'm growing frustrated dedicating my time to a game (the two championship threads, community help, etc), but the game doesn't wanna help itself. Can't grow a fan base with crap like this going on

i would just suggest that dealing with this stuff is one of the absolute crappiest parts of CS folks' jobs. its absolutely miserable, there is no winning or breaking even, its only a question of how much they lose. its a small staff, not like they have a lot of time for dealing with these issues, and they are highly time-intensive. but more, its just blows, there is no way to please everybody, and they have to try to be fair, can't have arbitrary rules for dealing with each circumstance in a 'common sense' way.

the circumstances here color everyone here's view of what should happen. its unlikely the criteria for removing teams, completely banning accounts, etc, account for ab being a dick and rubbing it in everyone's face. so you have to kinda look at it like, multiple teams, with no recruiting collusion - on the first offense, users get the offending teams moved with no further consequence. that's how it is, maybe you don't like that, maybe you ask them to change it, but it's where we are. so on the second offense, is that an automatic ban for all accounts? what if the user claims, however lamely, that the second account isn't even theirs, but a family member - do you still lifetime ban all accounts? its quite the escalation from penalty 1. maybe you guys would do it, and that's fine, but that isn't particularly relevant - are CS's actions in the range of reasonable? that is what matters. is your position really that the ONLY way CS can avoid being patently unreasonable, is a lifetime ban? that just seems a little... unreasonable!

if the response is 'but its ab, he's a dick, just ban him' - fine. i don't object to that. but i hope folks can put themselves in CS's shoes for a minute and understand that it is very hard for them to justify their cheating-responses based on such things. they almost have to base it off the substance of the offenses with little else, and ab's punishment here for multiple teams is at least as severe, to my knowledge, as any they have ever handed down for multiple team issues. at any # of infractions. a lifetime ban would unquestionably be inconsistent with their prior actions for these offenses... right? anyway, just another perspective i suppose. these cheating issues really suck, and i used to be a lot more black and white about how they should be dealt with, too. seble sharing his perspective on dealing with these issues at some point softened my view considerably...

i know the prior posts to mine are most likely just emotional and that's fine, talking about quitting etc. has always been a thing around here, for whatever reason. not really expecting a rational back-and-forth on the merits of all this. i just hope folks account for how much this sucks for CS to deal with these issues, and especially when the users make a big stink about them. i know this stuff is important, i'm not trying to say it isn't

Customer service on this site has never been good. That’s just my opinion.

My experience is that CS is currently pretty good ... much better than in the past.

I would think a single ticket to CS would clarify/take care of this latest Sinai manifestation.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to address this since it seems to be a lingering issue (for whatever reason). In regards to the user mentioned in this forum and how he handles his teams and any violations that have been committed. This situation has been handled the same as it would for any user. All we can go off of is information that has been presented and any other documented incidents. The user was removed for violating guidelines and has since complied with WIS rules and guidelines. The user has also been made aware that they are on a short leash and any future violations will result in a direct resolution from CS and will include a ban on all accounts.

Fairplay guideline violations is what this user has done, he has not directly attacked or harassed anyone. While we greatly appreciate users helping us find users who are violating rules, or cheating, this matter is to be handled by WIS staff and not by the HD community so proper channels to communicate any concerns need to be used.

This topic has been closed as it violates our terms of use as there are posts that are targeting another user.
