I had one team ($60M) miss the playoffs by one game, while both of my playoff teams ($120M and $200M) made it by one game, and both had to win game 162 to do it. If they'd both lost, I'd've had 506 wins and no playoff teams. Not quite bardin level, but it still would not have been fun to have the same number of wins as schwarze, but 3 fewer playoff teams.

well - I'm done....3 teams out in the 1st round and another out in the 2nd.....pitiful playoff showing......

thanks to schwarze for running another great tournament - I look forward to it every year - was hoping I could do better than my personal best of 4th place in this tournament with my strong record in round 2....not meant to be though....see you all next year (in 6 months)!

Congrats to wildthings1! He had this locked up early with his five dominating teams in round 2 (even if none of them went on to win the World Series).

It looks like sgsmith and I are playng for second. And it could come down to our head to head World Series in the 120M theme, with his offensive juggernaut and my Big Three Stud Pitchers (W.Johnson, Joss, M.Brown).

Thanks schwarze, it's a testament to the great owners that I faced here that not one of my teams could break through to win it all (Congrats to those who did!). The overall WISC win was what I wanted most, so that definately eases my pain on the lack of WS wins...

Also, great job running this thing and I can't wait till the next one! It really challenged my thinking on this site and I believe made me a better manager at this game for it.
